Does Elohim support the trinity doctrine?

Short answer is No due to the context and meaning of the Hebrew word Elohim.

What about Genesis 1:26?

When it comes to Elohim in Genesis 1:26 it's plural in reference to the True God (Yahweh's) majesty, dignity or excellence. Much evidence shows he's addressing his heavenly court especially with use of Us and Our

Genesis 1:26 (KJV) "And God (אֶלהִים) said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

Verses that would support this Genesis 3:22, Genesis 11:7, Isaiah 6:8, 1 Kings 22:19-23, Job 15:8, Jeremiah 23:18.

Another reason why Elohim is considered a weak argument to use to support the trinity is how its been shown to be used from above text in how it illustrates different beings. Also another it's not a good agrument to use is due to the Hebrew text showing Moses being called Elohim.

Exodus 7:1 (KJV) “The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made thee a god אֶלהִים, (Elohim) to Pharaoh, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.”
