God Has a Name

In the Hebrew text YHWH (יהוה), Yahweh. In Latin later to English, Jehovah. Often written as LORD in caps.

Ps 83:18 (HCSB) "May they know that You alone-- whose name is Yahweh-- are the Most High over all the earth."

Ps 83:18 (KJV) "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."

Ps 83:18 (NASB) "That they may know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth."

God’s Character

Ps 103:8 (NASB) "The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness."

God Truly Forgives

Micah 7:18-19 (NASB) "Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. 19 He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot.
